Third Annual Risk Management Conference
Presented by The California Department of Developmental Services and The Columbus Organization
The Third Annual Risk Management Conference will focus on the areas of Cultural Diversity and Risk, Aging, Substance Abuse, and Clinically Specific Risk Factors.
The purpose of the conference is to provide resources to Service Coordinators to:
- Increase knowledge and skills to identify these risks.
- Increase comfort level when confronted with these risks.
- Increase skills in risk assessment and planning for these frequently occurring risks.
- Increase the ability to design effective preventative action measures when incidents occur.

Target Audience:
The target audience is Service Coordinators and Service Coordination Supervisors. Regional Centers may include quality assurance and training staff as well as other members of their Risk Management Committees. Each Regional Center may send 30 participants. Registration:
Advanced registration should be made through each Regional Center Chief Counselor.
