Am I the right person? Is this medication for me? The medication container must be labeled with your name.  Never take someone else's medication.  Don't share your medication.
Is this the right medication for me to take? Only take the medication prescribed by your doctor.  Make sure your medication looks the same as the last time you took it.  Some medications have more than one name.  Ask your doctor if you are not sure if you are taking the right medication.
Am I taking the right amount of medication? Read the label on the medication container carefully.  Take the amount the doctor prescribes.
Am I taking the medication at the right time? Make sure that you are taking the medication at the same time each day.  If you are late, ask your doctor or pharmacist what you should do.
Am I taking the medication the right way? Medication can be taken in several ways.  Read the medication label carefully.  Following the directions correctly.  Take the medication the way the doctor prescribes.

Tell your support person, if you answered "no" to any of these questions, or if you are not sure.  You have the right to be safe.
